ESTABLISHING A NOVEL LIVESTOCK DIAGNOSTIC INFORMATION DELIVERY SYSTEM

NON-TECHNICAL SUMMARY: Our proposed project seeks to provide for extension agents a new and innovative method of delivering informationto the underrepresented clientele of the state of Texas. The following problems will be addressed while implementing this project: 1. Problem addressed: The well-established searchable database e.g. YouTube does not provide the county agents and the clientele the access to logically organized information specific to their needs. These databases provide an abundance of unrelated information, which accompany searches performed on their sites. 2. Problem Addressed: There does not appear to be any searchable database of videos specifically addressing the needs of 1890's extension agents attempting to diagnose specific animal health issues. 3. Problem Addressed: Provide a concentrated library of high definition video clips describing certain animal health issues. Accomplishing this objective will provide a concentrated collection of data for agents and clients to use.

OBJECTIVES: The objectives of the project are: (1)Toestablish a novel livestock diagnostic information delivery system (2) To create a searchable web database related to livestock diseases, available to both agents and producers (3) To develop high quality videos discussing individual livestock diseases
